Unit Writing Assignment
The 19th Century gave birth to a slew of
powerful world leaders. Decide which leader from this time period was most
powerful and conduct research from sources other than class lectures and notes.
Two Part Assignment:
First part will be five direct references from your research. These can be quotes from your leader, info from an essay about your leader or something found in an encyclopedia. You will cut and paste these references “word for word” and beneath each explain in YOUR own words why this made your leader powerful. (This will be due half way through the unit)
Second part will be a one/two page essay that compares your leader to any other one from this era or another. The goal of this essay is to prove through comparison why your leader was the most powerful. (This essay is all about YOUR thoughts, not others)
Be creative and apply critical thinking to produce well written work. Must be typed in 12 point font and properly formatted
